Who We Are.

Founded by members of the Vancouver Street Photography Collective (VanSPC), the Vancouver Street Photography Festival Society is a non-profit focused on creating an annual photography festival to promote and expand public understanding and appreciation of street photography. Based in Vancouver, a city with a long history and ongoing practice of street photography, the society aims to bring together individuals and local organizations that celebrate the genre.

Through curated exhibitions, publications, workshops, artist talks, photo walks, and collaborative events, the society seeks to connect photographers, audiences and the community with the aim of engaging the public with the art and culture of contemporary street photography and by promoting emerging and established street photographers.
